Your layout makes a lot of difference in cost, production speed and product quality. Assume you’re working on a perforated pull down window project. Which of the two layouts below will work better?

When designing die cut, folded and glued pieces that move, open or attach, get professional bindery advice before committing to a layout. In the example above, Layout 1 on the top is preferred. It will run much faster, be less prone to glue seepage problems, look better and be easier for the recipient to use. There are a lot of factors to consider.
