Regardless of the economic situation, wise investments are always needed. As 2002 starts, Rickard Bindery is proud to announce two new services to help you better serve your clients.
#1. LARGE SHEET “POSTER” ROLLING
We recently designed and built ten custom “poster” rolling machines capable of rolling:
- Any size sheet. Today, we can roll a sheet as long as 78”, but we could expand this size if necessary.
- Multiple sheets. If you need us to roll two or more sheets together, just ask.
- Different-sized sheets. Put coupons, information sheets, reorder forms and more to work for you and your clients.
Regardless of whether you need plastic sleeves or tubes, we’ve got you covered. Large and small quantities? No problem. Our last job was more than 1,000,000 posters - and it even had an insert!
TECH TIP: Consult with your bindery regarding bag size and “lip.” Also, if the piece being rolled is unusual (die cuts for example), let your bindery know early in the planning stage.

#2. 8MM OVERSIZED LOOP STITCHING (versus 6mm)
Loop stitching is a user-friendly way to get bound printed products into ring binders. Drilled booklets are difficult to use, unless they’re removed from the binder. On the other hand, loop stitched bound products lie flat.
WHY OVERSIZED LOOPS?
Simply because they work better for many applications. The extra clearance gives the end user more flexibility and makes it easy to add and remove stitched booklets.
