Bottle Hang Tag Design Options

Bottle hang tags are an increasingly popular point-of-purchase marketing vehicle. They’re popular for food packages such as salad dressing and dairy products, as well as liquor and wine bottles. Their versatility enables designers to include coupons, recipes and other promotions directly onto the product, creating attractive cross-marketing opportunities. Bottle hang tags are typically placed on the product at retail locations, allowing them to move quickly and easily through the print cycle.

Design Options
Bottle hang tags are typically attached to the product one of two ways. String can be placed through a punched hole and then tied to the neck of the bottle. A more common attaching method is to punch one or two larger holes on the tag and place them over the bottle. A single panel faces outward as a display, while subsequent panels are folded and secured with ez-release glue between the bottle and the outer panel. Most bottle hang tag designs make use of die cutting and folding, although some are also stitched or paste-bound to create small booklets.
