HP Revenue, Commercial Printer Sales Up in Q3
HP announced third-quarter 2010 financial results, which included net revenue of $30.7 billion, up 11.4% from a year earlier. Revenue at the company's Imaging and Printing Group (IPG) increased 9% to $6.2 billion, highlighted by a 44% increase in commercial printer hardware units.

People Magazine Print Subscribers to Free iPad Access
The iPad application for People will be free to readers who subscribe to the magazine, the first step toward what Time Inc., the world’s largest magazine publisher, hopes is a model for the bundling of print and digital sales for all its publications.
Time Inc. also says it believes that by adding digital products to its print subscriptions, those subscriptions become more valuable for print advertising, which is still far more lucrative than digital advertising. Time Inc. plans to offer the same bundled model for its other magazine iPad apps.
