Rickard Bindery earned an Award of Recognition in the "They Said It Couldn't Be Done" division for their What We Do! company brochure.

Chicago, IL– Rickard Bindery, an industry-leader in binding and finishing, was given the prestigious Award of Recognition in the category of “They Said it Couldn’t be Done” from the PIA/GATF.
Rickard Bindery secured the award with a step down, accordion folded brochure highlighting the company’s services.
Award of Recognition
The winning piece was on of more than 4,200 entries received at the 59th annual print competition. The award of excellence is given to a company that exemplifies some of the highest standards in the printing industry.
“This award is recognition of a great design in a printed piece as well as exceptional folding and finishing work. We are proud to be recognized by our peers at PIA/GATF,” says Jack Rickard, President.
The brochure featured a unique two-sided step down accordion fold that was achieved in a fully automated fashion. Utilizing proprietary folding techniques, Rickard Bindery was able to make “folds behind folds” giving the brochure its stepped panels in two directions. The end result is a stepped progression from both the front and back.
